O you who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers).
Insha'Allah this e-mail reaches you in the best of health and eman. Al Miskeen Project is currently accepting Non Perishable food and monetary donations, to be distributed throughout this blessed month. Alhumdulillah, our Spring Food Drive was successful and we were able to feed several needy families. We would like to have this same success during the blessed month of Ramadan insha'Allah. Please support our ummah by donating some items, gift cards, spreading the word about this project, and most importantly making dua for us.
During the last drive we collected over $200 in cash and were able to purchase meat packages for 3 families to go along with the canned items. We received over 1000 canned items and one Supermarket gift card. Alhumdulillah, Majority of these items have been distributed to families in our ummah. We only have a few canned items left and need to restock our shelves!

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) {1} is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious ).
{1} As-Saum means fasting i.e. not to eat or drink or have sexual relations etc. from the Adhân of the Fajr (early morning) prayer till the sunset

Ya akhwaan:
Baabun Nasr is reaching out to the ummah to aid in providing a few families who are in dire need of our assistance. At this time the families listed below are in desperate need of food. Masha Allah, Baabun Nasr's food pantry is deplited of goods. As we well know Akhwaan, it is Ramadan, a time of great benefit and reward for those who give of their means to aid their brother and sister in deen, bi ithnillah. Could you imagine fasting and having nothing to break your fast with? Or waking up and having nothing to cook for your family? These are things that these families are being tested with. In sha Allah, we all can seek the reward and give of what we have to assist these families.
- A sister and her four children have been tested with fire and lost everyhting. She is in need of underclothing for her children, household items, furniture and infants pampers and food.
- Numerous families (some large in size) are being tested with having no utilities, and severe lack of food for there families. They are in need of assistance in regaining hot water heater and food to feed their families
- An elderly sister is in need of food and is alone, and can not provide it for herself properly.
These are just some of the issues that our brothers and sisters are being tested with this Ramadan. If you can assist these famileis in anyway, bi ithnillah. Verily, those who do not thank the people have not thanked Allaah.
Baabun Nasr would like to extend its gratitude for the overwhelming donations that poured in in response to a plea that was generated last Sunday for families in dire need. Within hours of the request being posted , the ummah banded together and extended its hand in sadaqah to these families. Al-hamdu lillaah, by the Permission of Allaah and His Provisions and then by the generosity of the people, Baabun Nasr was able to assist the family who lost their belongings in a fire with clothing and other items, as well as assist with obtaining a hot water heater for another family. We were also able to provide food packages to all the families and several needy families in the community, wa lillaahil hamd.
Any monies that were/are collected after satisfying the needs of the families listed in the original post will be allocated to Baabun Nasr's food pantry and meeting subsequent requests for assistance.
Jazaakumallaahu khayraan to all who gave from their wealth and/or made du'aa for these families. We pray that these acts of charity are an expiation of your sins and that they weigh heavily on your scale of good deeds on Yawmul Qiyaamah... Aameen.
In shaa allaah, we ask that you continue to make du'aa for those in need, those whom are being tested during this Blessed Month.

We pray that this finds all of you in good health, high emaan, and shaded by Allaah's Mercy and His Blessings.
We are writing, once again, to alert the community about a family in dire need of your assistance and du'aas. This family did not contact Baabun Nasr directly, but we came to know of their situation by Allaah's Permission and, in shaa allaah, we would like to be able to come to their aid for the Sake of Allaah.
A sister and her four children (one with special needs) live in a house that has been abandoned by the landlord for quite some time now. Per the lease agreement, the landlord was responsible for paying for the gas and the water. Because he has not upheld his contract for an extended period of time, the bills are now astronomical amounts that the family cannot afford to pay. Sometime last year, the heat was turned off. This past week, the water was turned off. In addition, the house has structural problems that make it unfit for habitation. Maa shaa allaah, this family has been patient through their trials, placed their trust in Allaah, and have wished not to burden the people with their calamities -- baarakallaahu feehum.
Yaa akhawaat! Baabun Nasr is asking the community to pull together during this Blessed Month and help this family in need. This is the Month in which our good deeds are multiplied and our sins expiated, in shaa allaah. We are in the process of locating and securing more suitable housing for them in shaa allaah. Until we are able to do so, we would like to help make it easier upon them in every way possible in shaa allaah. THM Sadaqa Group, Inc would like to enlist your assistance in our search for offering extended services to the community of Muslim Youth. The idea is to start an all girls academy for ages 10yrs to 17yrs and to offer Adult Muslimah participation classes. Both groups will receive Academic and Islamic Studies using the guidelines set for Homeschool Assistance and Adult education requirements in the state of Georgia.
THM Sadaqa Group, Inc has been in operation for a total of four years Alhamdulillah and has had a large amount (200 +) of enrolled students both male and female of all age levels. We are seeking the application of accreditation so that all students may use their current enrollments as credits towards their homeschool or adult education whether through online participation classes or actual physical classroom settings. To do this we need your naseehah and recommendation letters to show our current progress with your families' inshaAllah.
THM Sadaqa Group, Inc has put together a current résumé of our course outlines to include those past courses we have provided. With this information we wish to begin marketing ourselves for what should be a new and exciting homeschool educational task inshaAllah.
THM Sadaqa Group, Inc is open to a much needed homeschool change since the field is devoid of current access to Salafi Homeschool Standards of educating our youth. We are looking for an improvement in educational products and services offered to the Muslim community at large.
We hope, by the Will and aide of Allah, to draw on both our management experience and volunteer service workers and their backgrounds to make this venture successful in a wide range of areas. Relocation is not a problem since we will continue to offer our services online to many Muslim communities here and abroad.
With your permission, THM Sadaqa Group, Inc would like you to be a personal reference for us. We will keep you posted when we have used you as a reference so you will know who might call and won't be caught blind-sided. Muslim family robbed

Allah says he will test the believers with there children and there wealth and we must remain patient during these times.There is a family is being tested over in egypt, The family has been robbed and they have no money to pay rent nor buy food. We are trying to come together and assist them in returning back to America, The family is in need of $1000 . Just imagine if you were in a country with no family and you have been violated like this... We plan to western Union the money to the family this week (Insha Allah)because they only have a few days left in before they are put in the streets with their children . The amount does not matter . Give for Allah's Sake

[at-Taubah 9:60] (Sadaqa) Charities shall go to the poor, the needy, the workers who collect them, the new converts, to free the slaves, to those burdened by sudden expenses, in the cause of Allah, and to the traveling alien. Such is Allah's commandment. Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise
[at-Taubah 9:71] The believing men and women are allies of one another. They advocate righteousness and forbid evil, they observe (Salat-Reaching out by reading Qur'an at prescribed times) and (Zakat- purification from following the commands and enlightenment in Qur'an such as spending in charity), and they obey Allah and His messenger (Allah and His Message). These will be showered by Allah's mercy. Allah is Almighty, Most Wise.
May this letter find you in highest imaan and in safe health and may Allah azza wa jal grant you al-Firdous ameen.

Dear brothers and Sisters in Islam, this is an appeal to seek your help in purchasing a Masjid in the South Dallas Area. The members of Masjid Uthaymeen (also
known as the Islamic Center of South Dallas) is working diligently
in order to purchase the building that we are now in (the building
use to be a church and was taken over by the masjid in May of 2007).
The masjid recently entered into a contract with the owner to
purchase the building for a small sum and included in the price is
the masjid building, another store and an huge empty lot on one
side. The owner has agreed to allow the Masjid to pay off the price
in four lump sum payments and the first payment is Due on December
28. With plenty of Dua and financial assistance from other Muslim
communities, InshaAllah, the masjid can be purchased and permanently
established that will serve the Downtown Dallas and surrounding
areas which include: Uptown, Lakewood, Bishop Arts District, North
Oak Cliff and White Rock Lake.
Time is running and the Khufar are trying to take this building right from under our noses. Please for the pleasure of Allah, please donate to help save our masjid. No amount is too small.
