The Janaazah (Funeral) of El Akh 'Abdur Rahmaan Ibn Boone of Queens N.Y. will be held Monday October 29th at 11:00 am at Hunt Irving Funeral Home at 2500 Concord Rd. Chester, PA 19013, bi-idhnillaah.
El Akh Abdur Rahmaan, a vendor living in Wilmington, Delaware, was murdered as he waited for a bus in Camden, NJ. May Allaah have mercy upon our brother and forgive him for any and all sins he may have had. Aameen. See article about his murder at the link below.

URGENT: Masjid Uthaymeen on-line fund raiser
As-Salamu Alaykum,
Masjid Uthaymeen (dba Islamic Center of South Dallas) is currently in the process of purchasing a building for the masjid.
We would like to inform you about a free and easy you can help the masjid to raise some funds by participating in our Insider Pages on-line fund raiser.
Insider Pages is a web site where people go to read and post reviews of local businesses and services (anywhere in the U.S.). Since they want high quality, trustworthy reviews, they're going to pay towards raising funds for the masjid for reviews we write.
For each new review we write, the masjid will get $1.50. If a place has already been reviewed, then writing a secondary review will earn the masjid $0.50. Our goal for this on-line fund raiser is to raise between $1,000 and $10,000 by November 26, Insha' Allah. We need your help in doing so. The reviews you write can be for any local business (not chains) that y ou have visited anywhere in the U.S. within the last two years.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullaah wa barakatuh
Alhumdulilaah we have managed with the grace of Allah swt and your
generosity raised £250k. However we have just been told by the agent
dealing with the purchase of this property, that unless we demonstrate
we have funds to buy the property his clients will cancel their offer
to us.
We need another £120k within 14 days, to reach the target.
The next step is we need to place the deposit before exchange of
contracts can take place, but as you can imagine we don't want to
place a deposit knowing we dont have the FULL funds in place.
The bottom line is if we don't come up with the funds in 14 days, the
likelihood is that the seller may pull out and the property will go on
to the market, leaving MASJID AS SUNNAH to be CLOSED DOWN! So, we ask
you in this DESPERATE TIME to either donate, or if you are able to
give the Masjid a loan, which will be paid back ASAP. To find out more
